Many Thanks
I started this blog in early July in order to share some music with the
masses. Little did I realize how difficult it was to find the masses.
Being that I now have over 75 posts in the blog, it is high time that I
made my appreciation known to those who have helped me get to the
place I am today (with so much more learning to do).
Many thanks to the following people:
DIANE and BOOTS for aiding and abetting in my mania for music. Without
them, I wouldn't have made it to Diane's group where I met another woman.
SARAH was instrumental in explaining bitrate to me and how sound
quality is determined.
JEANNE - owner of several yahoo music groups before real life took away
her spare time. She is a great lady who had much to share and did so
graciously.
TINA is another multiple group owner who shared .wavs and went on to
mp3s and was most helpful whenever I had questions.
DONNY (Tina's group cohort) got me interested in hard rock/metal once
again. Unfortunately, my shares for this music are only on vinyl with no
way, at this time, to get them onto my computer.
STEVE shared so much, got me into rapidshare through his hard work,
lent a willing ear when needed, gave great instructions, and proved to be
a caring friend.
JV and SAL have provided me some excellent tunes for my music files -
a couple of which are previously posted.
CHICO - is there anyone who has not heard of this man and his fabulous
blog and forum? A huge thank you for helping me expand my library -
including a few selections in this blog to get me started. What a generous
soul you are!!!
Thanks to all of those people who run, or participate in the numerous blogs
and forums that started me thinking of my own little part of the blog world.
Most of what you will see in the future will be selections from my personal
music library. They are a varied mixture of different music styles. My hope
is to try to find something for everyone's taste. Also, my plan is to ensure a
good quality of sound - and I will try to set future albums at 256kps.
I don't mind if you share the links in your groups. However, if you find that
something isn't working, please don't hesitate to leave a comment under
any of the listed albums and I will do my best to correct the problem.
Hoping you find something you like here, and that you get many hours of
listening enjoyment.
As always, this music is for information purposes only. Please support the
artists by buying their CDs.
